That turned out to be the best choice I could have made! Even if I didn't have time, between work and college, to make an appointment, they would give me helpful tips over the phone, and when he had a urinary problem they laid out the most helpful proceedures and let me choose which to do based on budget. All of the staff there are just wonderful!
Posted By : Jamie Keller Posted : 7/13/2007 Comments : When I adopted two stray kittens this winter, I immediately took them to a vet recommended by a friend. Well, after 2 months of Figo sneezing and his eyes watering, I decided to try another vet; this time I chose Broadway Veterinary Hospital. Within a few minutes of meeting Figo, Dr. Dertinger had heard his history, hugged him, cleaned his eyes, and diagnosed him with feline herpes, a relatively minor ailment that was easily treated. Within a month of Dr. Dertinger's care, Figo's eyes were clear, he didn't sneeze anymore, and he was finally acting like the kitten he's supposed to be.
Every time I go to the clinic, the kittens (now almost a year old!) don't fight me to get in the carrier, they actually enjoy going. Both of them allow Dr. Dertinger to hold them, pet them, and examine them without fuss. Mary always gives us a warm welcome and is always smiling. I've had lots of pets over my lifetime, I've made lots of visits to many vets in several cites, and I honestly have to say that I would never go to another vet again!

They helped me treat her Hyperthyroidism, kidney disease and urinary issues with love and concern. They were fantastic at listening to my observations, concerns and helping in any way they could even though I was on a limited budget. Even when I was in-between jobs they made every effort to give Joy the best care possible. When I finally made the decision to let Joy go they cried with me. It was compassionate and definately the best care you can give you pet.
